Starting October 2, we invite you to the Lviv Museum of the History of Religion for the presentation of the new project, "In the Beginning Was the Word."

This exhibition is dedicated to communication—from the first signs and writing to the modern digital world.

The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the power of the written word, how it resonates today, and what form it will take in the future. It reminds us of the immense importance of books. It is a space for dialogue between the present and the past, a search for answers in texts, images, and the meanings we continue to create.

The exhibition is built on the principle of a kaleidoscope: each section is a separate mini-exhibition. Topics range from the emergence of writing and symbols to music as a form of expression, libraries and archives; from translators and prophets to censorship, the word as a weapon and defense; and the book today.
