On July 11, the museum presented two exhibitions: "Around SACRUM" and "Philosophy of Peace".

The event took place within the framework of the International Art Festival "PO-MOSTY of polyculturity”.

Paintings, digital graphics on canvas, photography, drawings, sumi-ye (Japanese painting) will be presented by Polish artists at the exhibition "Around SACRUM". Different work techniques and different themes have united around the “sacrum” – idea of holiness, around which beliefs, rites and religious practices are concentrated. More than twenty artists will guide us through the artistic discourse of the sacrum of Central-Eastern Europe in order to show the nuances of the relationship of human spirituality with the otherworldly and divine world.

The banner exhibition "Philosophy of Peace" will be displayed in the courtyard of the museum. This is an attempt by artists from forty countries to show their opposition to war, promoting a peaceful solution to all armed conflicts.

The organizers are the Lviv Museum of the History of Religion, Art Group ATINA, NGO "Ecology. Culture. Art". Curators - Anita Grobeliak (Poland), Sofia Kaskun (Ukraine).
