The exhibition "Halshka. Ukrainian Helen" opened in the museum on October 5. It was created with support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
35 artists from Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv, Ternopil, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kolomyia) and Poland (Poznan, Katowice, Częstochowa) participated in the creation of the project. The result - reflections of various artists on princess Elizaveta (Halshka) Ostrogska (1539-1582) - was embodied in paintings, graphics, installations, posters. More than 70 works in total.
As part of the project, in addition to the exhibition, posters of students of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts (сurated by Nadiya Velychko), a Polish poster (curated by Bohuslav Doba), a catalog of works in Ukrainian and English were presented.
