Starting June 25, our museum is hosting the exhibition "I Greet You, Ukraine," dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the unforgettable visit of Pope John Paul II

to Ukraine. The exhibition aims to remind Lviv residents and city guests of the Holy Father's days in Kyiv and Lviv, and to highlight the significance of this event for contemporary Ukrainian society.

The exhibition features archival materials from the collection of the Lviv Museum of the History of Religion, as well as numerous photographs. The authors of the photos are the Pope's personal photographer, Arturo Mari, and Lviv photographers Vasyl Pylypiuk and Bohdan Salahai. These images illustrate excerpts from the speeches and sermons delivered by Saint John Paul II during his stay in Ukraine.

The exhibition will run until July 26.
